Context
- Catalogue: 60 products.
- Languages: PL, then EN.
A small shop selling ceramics, linen and wool for the home. Product pages carried copied supplier text, and the owner was about to open an English store for buyers in Germany and the UK. She had no time to write sixty descriptions once, let alone twice.
Approach
- We wrote a one-page tone guide and a template per category (ceramics, linen, wool)
- We rewrote 60 Polish descriptions from the supplier sheet and a call about how each item is used
- We flagged every missing fact instead of inventing it (sizes, care, weight)
- We wrote the English versions from the Polish, adapted for a UK or German buyer: units, idiom, tone
- A second native reader reviewed the English
- Two revision rounds each language

Outcome
Sixty product pages now sound like one shop, in two languages. The English store launched with copy that native readers do not take for a translation.
