Nasz zespół z pasją tworzy meble z duszą. Our team with passion creates furniture with a soul. We make furniture in a small workshop in Słupsk, and every piece is signed by the person who built it.
  • Units and times switched to what an English reader expects.
  • 'Passion' and 'soul' replaced by a fact; the Polish idiom does not travel.

Who it is for

  • Polish exporters whose English site reads like a translation
  • Foreign companies entering the Polish market
  • Shops running one catalogue in two languages

The problem

Literal translation loses the idiom, the register and the reason to buy. Machine output is grammatical and commercially dead. A German distributor reading 'we offer wide range of solutions' does not stop to think it is a translation; they just trust you a little less. We do not translate. We read the original for what it is trying to do, then write it again in the other language, adapting jokes, idioms, units and tone for that reader. It runs both ways, EN to PL and PL to EN.
