The short version.
Every text we deliver is written by a person and edited by a person. We do not paste machine drafts and tidy them. You will always be able to ask how a text was made, and we will answer.
Where we use software.
Spell-check and grammar checks. Keyword research for articles. Reading and summarising long documents you send us, so we can ask better questions. Nothing that produces the words you receive.
Where we do not.
First drafts. Rewrites. Headlines. Translations and localisations. Product descriptions, however many there are. We do not put your confidential material into public AI tools without your written permission.
You will always know how a text was made, because we tell you.
Why we wrote it down.
Buyers have been burned by text that looked fine and read like nothing. Some of it was machine output presented as human work. We would rather state our practice than ask you to trust us. If our practice changes, this page and the Process page change first.
If you use AI yourself.
Plenty of teams do, and there is nothing wrong with it. Tell us, and we will write to fit: for example, a tone-of-voice guide that works as instructions for a tool as well as for a person.
